Being named after a historical New York City neighborhood, the original name the company was called was “Bouweriji”, meaning farm in Old Dutch word. The name Bowery was later settled in 1654 in Dutch and through the seventeenth century, it served as a great link of farmlands to the center of the city.

Being a framing based company, most products produced are farm produce and they also involve in the selling of herbs and assortment of leafy greens.

The company has always packaged its products in a way that makes it appealing to the environment. To avoid liters and waste, the company uses 100% recyclable and recycled packaging material. The company presently use rPET #1 curbside recyclable material
How to Store Bowery Produce
Knowing how products are highly perishable the company has advised its customer on how to store products and make them last longer.
Leafy greens, cilantro, parsley should be kept refrigerated between 33 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit while basil should be stored at room temperature.
