The KAAD Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships Fully-funded for 2021/2022 is open. This scholarship is offered by The Catholic Academic Exchange Service in Germany (KAAD). It is open to students of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America for an opportunity to study in Germany fully funded.

The KAAD scholarships are open to two sets of applicants. Those who want to acquire a master’s degree and those for a Ph.D. They get to do this at a German university or do a post-doctoral research project for 2-6 months. Mainly for established university lecturers and requires support.

Requirements for the Scholarship -KAAD Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships 

To apply, ensure you meet the following;

You must be a citizen of a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America. Also, you must be currently living there

applicants should have obtained a university degree and experience from your home country.

You must wish to do a master’s or Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in Germany.

You must be a catholic Christian or belong to a general body of Christianity. However, candidates from other religions can apply if they’re proposed by a catholic partner. They should also not have a problem with inter-religious dialogue.

Have a grasp of the German Language. KAAD can provide a language course of. 6 months in Germany.

Have an above-average record in your academics

Also, your studies or research should be towards permanent reintegration in your home region. If not, the scholarship is turned into a loan.

Be committed religiously and be open to inter-religious dialogue.

Procedures For Application -KAAD Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships 

Interested applicants are required to fill the online form. Additionally, KAAD works with partner countries in your region. In the countries, there are Partner Committees and applications are channeled via them. Note that applications from other countries can be considered only in exceptional cases.
