The scholarship is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). As well as the office for Artificial Intelligence (OAI). The main aim is to support students from lesser groups to access, participate and succeed in higher education.

Eligibility Criteria And Requirements

To be qualified for the  Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

1. Applicant must have been offered a place in one of the Courses. He/she should have accepted a place on one of the following courses commencing September 2021: MSc Artificial Intelligence and Adaptive Systems; MSc Data Science; MSc Human and Social Data Science.
2. Also note that scholarships will be prioritized for black students, female students as well as students with disabilities.
3. Applicants must possess excellent academic and leadership abilities.
4. Applicants must have gotten a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning.
